Leading the way in propagating Sri Lanka’s dwindling forest reserves, LOLC identified this need as a long term sustainable business model and in 2007/2008, acquired 29.18% of Touchwood by initiating an investment into the Company. Advocating the triple bottom line: Planet, People and Profit, Touchwood Investments will manage forestry plantations for customers. This symbiotic relationship will deliver value in the medium and long term. LOLC's investment adds great value to Touchwood in enhancing its image and is expected to positively contribute to register robust growth in the coming year. The future plans of Touchwood include rapid expansion of the forestry and plantation cover.
