Introduction

Our business principals are based on creating value to our customers, the communities they live in, our employees and shareholders alike with a commitment to developing rural and agro sectors in Sri Lanka whilst promoting gender equality. Our contribution has always been based on environmental sustainability, rural development and developing conflict affected areas.

While our business is based on a triple bottom line approach, our initial foray into micro finance is through financing solar home systems to rural households. With our experience in the rural economy, our expansion of this micro business is rural centric across the nation adopting a three pronged approach: Retail, Group and as an Intermediary partner.

Despite being a new entrant, we have already achieved significant status as a major player. We are the largest private sector institution for financing solar home systems and for financing agricultural implements. We have partnered with GTZ, USAID and PRASAC, the largest micro finance institution in Cambodia.
